Academic Probation

The minimum grade point average (GPA) for completion of a degree is 2.50 on a 4.0 scale. A minimum of 2.0 is required for the Diplomas and Certificates. A student who has completed 12 or more units and whose semester or cumulative grade point average falls below 2.50 will be placed on academic probation for the next semester. A student is allowed one semester to raise his or her GPA to the required level.

Students on Academic Probation are not eligible to receive Financial aid, awards, or loans. If the student is a veteran, he/she will be un-enrolled for Veterans Benefits while on academic probation. If the student is unable to meet the required GPA, the student’s continued enrollment at the Seminary will be reviewed.
