Remediate an Unsatisfactory Grade

If a student wishes to remediate an unsatisfactory grade, there are two options.

First, a student may apply to raise an F or a C grade by one grade level (F to C, C to B).  The student must apply within a month of the date that the grade was released from the Registrar’s office. The faculty and student will agree on the additional work to be completed.  The appropriate form must be submitted to the Academic Dean for approval. Applicable fees will be charged.  The student then has one month from the date of approval to complete the work.

The second option is for the student to retake the course. If the grade is improved the GPA will be adjusted, but the original mark will remain on the transcript for the record.
