Recreation
The Seminary has access to sports facilities at the adjoining Fresno Pacificc University campus. Some facilities require a minimal fee. Seminary students, faculty and staff have access to the use of the gym, weight room, racquetball courts, swimming pool, and tennis courts.
The racquetball court keys are purchased from the FPU Information Center. Keys are changed each year, but your one-time fee will be good for a new key for the duration of your studies at Seminary.
During the summer, a seasonal pass for the swimming pool can be purchased on a per person or per family basis. Daily passes are available from the lifeguard, other passes need to be purchased at the FPU Information Center. Information about pool hours is available by calling 453-2000.
Fresno residents have easy access to some of California’s most famous landmarks—Yosemite National Park is one hour north of Fresno, and Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are just east of Fresno. The Pacific Coast beaches and seaside towns are two-three hours away, while San Francisco and Los Angeles can be reached in less than four hours.
