Pankratz resigns as Academic Dean of MB Biblical Seminary

Fresno CA: On March 18, Jim Holm, president of MB Biblical Seminary, announced the resignation of Dr. James Pankratz from his positions as Academic Dean for the Seminary’s three campuses and Associate Professor of Mission and World Religions at its Fresno, California campus. Pankratz’s resignation is effective December 31, 2005.

Pankratz will move to the position of Academic Dean at Conrad Grebel University College in Waterloo, beginning January 1, 2006. He has served at the Seminary since 1998.

In announcing the departure, President Holm voiced his appreciation for Pankratz’s expertise as well as his friendship and encouragement. Holm said, "Jim has been a valued colleague in seminary administration and a good friend. I regret the loss that the Seminary will experience with his departure, but I encourage Jim and Goldine as they look forward to this new adventure. Jim has served with the Seminary for seven years. He has brought wisdom, expertise and a good spirit to our campuses. He will be greatly missed."

Jim and his wife Goldine look forward to returning to family in Ontario. Their parents, siblings and one married daughter live in southern Ontario. Another daughter and her family live in Winnipeg.

With campuses in Langley BC, Winnipeg Manitoba and Fresno California, MB Biblical Seminary seeks to inspire and equip men and women to be disciples of Christ, and to serve and lead in the church and the world.
